HCM Responds to Java Earthquake

Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (HCM) wishes to express its deepest sympathies to those who have suffered in the wake of the massive earthquake that struck Java, Indonesia, on May 27. We pray for a smooth and rapid recovery in the months ahead.
HCM, under the leadership of President Michijiro Kikawa, has decided to donate aid for use in the recovery in the form of hydraulic excavators (valued at roughly 50 million Japanese Yen) through Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works.
In light of the urgency of the disaster, the local distributor will be instructed to donate new units in its possession to accelerate their deployment.
