There are two key phrases: "Hitachi's Design Philosophy", and the other is "Mutual Trust".
The "Hitachi's Design Philosophy" is to design equipment in accordance with the following objectives: high reliability and high performance, and fulfilling our customers' requirements for high productivity at low operating cost.
"Mutual Trust" is to achieve a Win-Win situation with our customers, Hitachi dealers and Hitachi. To achieve this, we maintain a long-term business partnership with the customer, and establish a joint task force ( "Let's walk together" spirit) to minimize unexpected downtime and reduce operating costs (such as maintenance & repair).
Of course, we are always considering our customers' views and needs, and reviewing equipment performance in various mining applications. To achieve a closer working relationship with our customers, in July 2003, Hitachi established the Global Mining Center (GMC).
In Africa more and more mining projects are being developed to meet the worldwide demand for natural resouces. Hitachi Construction Machinery Southern Africa ensures that customer requirements in Southern Africa and Ghana are met with our high quality products and support.
In addition, our local manufacture facility builds dump truck body, water tanker and bottom dump coal hauler to meet specific customer requirements.
