On September 30, 2009, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) N.V., Middle East Center extended a warm welcome to Mr. Toshitaka Uchida. Effective immediately, Mr. Uchida has been appointed the Manager of Sales and Marketing for MEC.

MEC General Manager, Mr. Mutsumi Kitai delivered a congratulatory welcome to Mr. Uchida. “We are excited to have Mr. Uchida take on this position. He will undoubtedly be a valued team leader here at MEC."

MEC has maintained a positive outlook during this current world economy. “Middle East construction continues to thrive. Our dealers know the needs of our customers and their unique regional demands," confirmed Kitai.

Previously assigned to the Istanbul Liaison office, Toshitaka Uchida has already proven himself to be a key player for Hitachi. Uchida understands the importance of collaborative customer service and added, “Clear communication between MEC, the dealer, and the customer is our number one priority."
