Dealership MOU Signing - MEC Hosts Memorable Ceremony
On August 9, 2009, Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) N.V., Middle East Center hosted a Dealership Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Hitachi C.M.E. NV MEC, and international trading firm, JSM LTD., and Iraqi Hitachi dealer, Savanna Group.

The MOU solidified the agreement that MEC will sell machinery and parts to Savanna Group via international traders, JSM Ltd. MEC General Manager, Mr. Mutsumi Kitai took roll of host and lead representative for HCME in the ceremonial signing. Representing Savanna Group was CEO, Mr. Basim H. Zgayir and for JSM Ltd. was Executive Officer, Mr. Masami Numao. The gathering was positive and genuine as the three representatives shared their feelings regarding the memorandum.

Confident that Savanna Group will sell numerous units, Mr. Basim H. Zgayir confirmed, “The Iraqi customers are well satisfied with Hitachi machines."
With JSM Ltd. built on the business motto “Teamwork and Smooth Communication," Mr. Masami Numao ensured “JSM Ltd. will give full support and corporation to Savanna and MEC."
Expressing his deep appreciation to Mr. Zgayir and Mr. Numao, Mr. Kitai ensured MEC’s maximum support to Savanna Group and JSM. “We will always do everything possible to promote and facilitate more Hitachi products in the Iraqi market."
The ceremony ended with the exchange of gracious acknowledgements. Mr. Kitai, Mr. Zgayir and Mr. Numao thanked the MEC staff for coordinating such a pleasant and memorable MOU signing ceremony.
