Obaikan Equipment and Services WLL - Supplied Hitachi ZX240-3 and ZX350H-3 Excavators to Noor Al Ferdous Trading and Contracting Company, Doha, Qatar for the Izghawa Link Road Project, Qatar. 16 Hitachi Units work on deep sewerage pipelines and 17-meter deep micro tunneling pits. Once completed, the Izghawa Link Road Project will span 11 km connecting with the North Highway Road. Located in the economic center of Qatar, Noor Al Ferdous Trading and Contracting Company teamed with Strabag International GMBH making this Strabag’s first Qatar road project. Under the guidance of General Manager, Mr. Noor Maeen Noor, Al Ferdous Trading and Contracting Company is involved in many of Qatar’s world-renowned projects including The New Doha International Airport (NDIA), which will have the final capacity of 50 million passengers upon completion in 2015.

We needed reliable, durable machinery and that is what the Hitachi Brand represents. Out of the 30 excavators working at this site, 15 are Hitachi units. Simple design features such as the enlarged boom foot that provides higher strength under extreme conditions make these machines outstanding. Upper rollers and upper roller brackets are larger for optimum performance—all qualifications needed for this job.
