Plant tour for shareholders

We gave a tour of Tsuchiura Works and Kasumigaura Works to shareholders for the first time on Friday, February 20, 2009. Although it was drizzling, 49 shareholders participated in the tour. The shareholders heard explanations about our company from Mr. Kikawa, our president, watched a video, had a commemoration photograph taken in front of the very first machine produced at Tsuchiura Works, and observed the production lines of excavators and parts. After the tour, Mr. Kikawa answered questions raised by the shareholders. Judging from the responses to a questionnaire, the shareholders were satisfied overall. We also received constructive opinions from the shareholders.

We are grateful to the shareholders who participated in the tour. We will organize more events to deepen understanding of our company.
