CSR Objectives and CSR Policy

We set our CSR objectives in fiscal 2005 to clarify the direction of our CSR activities. The CSR policy itemizes our CSR objectives.

CSR Promotion System

We set up a CSR promotion system in fiscal 2005 to promote CSR activities by effectively using the existing organization based on our group CSR policy.

Distribution of our group CSR Guidebook

We reviced our CSR Guidebook in April 2012.

Strengthening CSR Management

Based on our CSR Policy, We the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group also drew up our CSR Roadmap, which bolstered CSR management in the PDCA cycle. In fiscal 2011, we formulated a New CSR Roadmap to coincide with the start of our new mid-term management plan "Go Together 2013." In drawing up the New Roadmap, we once again examined and considered issues related to the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group's CSR, following the "seven core subjects of ISO 26000."
