Holding the reading meeting of leading company CSR report

We have established CSR Promotion Team Meeting who makes and performs plans based on the policy of CSR Committee in order to promote our CSR activities. Each member of CSR Promotion Team Meeting is in charge of each division or department and the actor of CSR promotion. At the beginning in 2005 when we started CSR activity, each member read CSR reports of leading companies, and started their activity, referring to the reports, and now we are promoting CSR based on the PDCA cycle. But this is the 5th year of CSR activity, and the large numbers of members has changed. So we held the reading meeting of leading company CSR report for the members of CSR Promotion Team Meeting at our head office on August 21 to rediscover the CSR activities of leading companies and reflect them to our CSR activity plans.

11 members took part in the reading meeting and concentrated on reading their theme part of 10 leading company CSR reports such as Ricoh Co., Ltd. and FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation for an hour. Then they shared the good activities and reporting way of the leading companies in a group work. At the end each group gave a presentation about the above.

One of participants told that she had not read this many CSR reports before, and that the reports she read this time would be helpful to her activity from now on. We will reflect what we got this time to our CSR activity plan from now on.
