Disclosure ranking(machinery section) 2nd place

We were ranked second among sixteen companies in Disclosure Ranking by Security Analysts (machinery section) for 2008. This is the 14th year of the ranking, which the Security Analysts Association of Japan started in 1995 with the aim of raising disclosure by companies. The companies were assessed on the five aspects of (1) executives' IR attitude , (2) explanatory meetings,etc., (3) fair disclosure, (4) corporate governance and (5) active information disclosure. We scored 82.5 points, 11.2 points up on the previous year, securing second place in the machinery division. We received a certificate of commendation as a company which made significant improvement in disclosure.

We will enhance our disclosure by improving (1) executives' IR attitude, (5) active information disclosure, and other aspects.
