Conducting compliance training including group companies in Japan
We were planning to provide compliance training only to TCM in fiscal 2008, based on the results of the compliance questionnaires that were completed by employees of our group companies in Japan in fiscal 2007. Taking this as a good opportunity, TCM provided compliance training to its seventeen group companies in Japan, including Kinki TCM. A total of 2,965 employees received compliance training.

During the compliance training program, they reported the results of the compliance questionnaires, and taught basic matters concerning compliance, including examples of breaches by other companies and matters requiring special attention in daily work. They also explained the compliance hotline, which they set up by themselves in fiscal 2006, to further raise the awareness of the line. The compliance hotline was used only for two problems in fiscal 2006 and just one in fiscal 2007, but this increased significantly in fiscal 2008 to six, as a result of the above action. They swiftly solved the problems informed of in accordance with the set procedures. They will continue to ensure thorough fulfillment of compliance by the training.
