Physical and mental health support for the employees
Tadakiko have introduced various measures to support the physical and mental health of their employees. They support the physical health of their employees by ensuring that they have health checks. All of their employees received a health check in fiscal 2008. They urge any employees with health problems uncovered by the health check to consult the company doctor without fail. They ensure that their employees who work in dusty conditions or who handle organic solvents, and their employees who work at night, have health checks with particular attention given to pneumoconiosis, organic solvents and so on.
Concerning mental health, they joined the EAP in fiscal 2008, and started its program and distributed pamphlets to increase the take up of the program. They also distributed a booklet with the title of "Introduction to Mental Health", which describes how to take care of yourself.
In fiscal 2009, they will continue to provide their employees with the support stated above and with mental health training to help their employees with their physical and mental health.
