Cleaning and weeding of the road that schoolchildren use in front of the main gate
Children use the road passing in front of the main gate of Niigata Material to go to school, so employees regularly clean and weed the road to maintain a pleasant environment for the children. Employees spend about one hour each time cleaning and weeding using grass cutters for the local community.
They assigned a group of senior citizens, who were wanting to work, the task of weeding in the factory premises in June and September of fiscal 2008.

They will continue to make efforts to relate closely with the local community by doing things like the above, and also by inviting local people to beer parties and helping with snow shoveling in the winter.
