Creating "Kenkijin spirit" as a teaching "Kenkijin"

Our group is making efforts to raise the awareness of, and embed the "Kenkijin spirit" in the companies so that all of our group employees ("Kenkijins") act with the same sense of values. We have prepared and distributed a booklet titled "Kenkijin Spirit", which describes the sense of values and the golden rules, to each "Kenkijin". The major elements of the "Kenkijin spirit" are the 3Cs, namely Challenge (spirit of challenge), Customer (individual customer orientation) and Communication (open atmosphere). The booklet states the golden rules for each of six divisions including the development division (creating "Kenkijins") and the production division (manufacturing "Kenkijins").

Hitachi Construction Machinery Operators Training Center is registered with the Bureau of Labor as a training institute. They offer support to people to acquire driving licenses and operating qualifications through the provision of skills courses and so on, aiming for the goal of zero labor accidents relating to construction and industrial machinery. They devised a "Kenkijin spirit" as a teaching "Kenkijin" that states the golden rules related to their business. They put up posters printed with the "Kenkijin spirit" and are maiking efforts to raise awareness of, and embed it. They will strive to raise the quality of teaching based on the golden rules.
