Holding yearly merit at all premises as an annual event of new year
The Hitachi Construction Machinery (Thailand) group holds yearly merit*, a Buddhist event, as a new year event every year. They held the event, which is part of the welfare of the employees, at all twelve premises of the group in fiscal 2008, too.
At a service center, which is a delivery center with a warehouse for components, in Nong Kae (93km north of Bangkok, in Saraburi Province), they solemnly held yearly merit on January 16, 2009, together with staff who came from the head office in Bangkok.
They will continue to hold yearly merit as a new year event to enhance the satisfaction of the employees.

Yearly merit
*Yearly merit: At the beginning of the year, monks are invited to premises to purify the premises by reading Buddhist scriptures, for which they receive offerings.
