Starting occupational safety and health meeting monthly
Hitachi Construction Machinery Indonesia conducts exercise, roll call, morning assembly, and call by pointing to raise the awareness of safety and health. But they didn't hold occupational safety and health meeting periodically.

So they started occupational safety and health meeting in August, 2008. In this meeting they repot the occurrence of occupational accidents (including incidents, fire accidents, and traffic accidents during commuting hours), safety control index, and *5S-3T activity progress in accordance with given format. And they discuss the agenda set up every meeting. In addition, they pass on their meeting result to each work site to share the information about occupational safety and health.
They will continue to hold occupational safety and health meeting intensively, and pass on the result of the meeting to raise the awareness of safety and health.
*5S-3T : 5S stands for "Seiri(order), Seiton(arrangement), Seiketsu(clean), Seisou(cleaning), and Sitsuke(discipline). 3T stands for Teichi(storage space sign), Teihin(product name sign), Teiryo (quantity sign). 5S-3T is a campaign which make work site suitable to production and safe.
