Receiving the highest awardin IR information magazine - the first in Japanese companies

Hexindo (referred to HAP below), a sales and service company in Indonesia, received the highest award of the investor award 2009 which was given to the excellent companies in Indonesia. This is the award given to the top 3 companies selected from among the listed companies by Globe Media Group, who issues information magazine for investors in Indonesia, based on their own selection standard.

At first they reduced the number of companies from 397 companies to 118 companies based on financial numeric value including business results in 2008, the growth rate in three years, stock price stability, stock liquidity, ROA/ROE, sales profit rate and profit growth rate in 3 years. Then 200 of stock market relevant people including investors, analysts, and stock market experts selected the top six companies. Finally members of selection committee interviewed 6 companies and selected the top 3. HAP was selected one of the top companies in the general category, and came first in the trade category. It was an unprecedented great accomplishment that a Japanese company got the highest award.

HAP is the only listed company in our group companies outside Japan. They are running a business actively with the extensive lineup from medium or small hydraulic excavators to large hydraulic excavators used for mines. Taking this opportunity, they will increasingly contribute to Indonesian communities through their business from now on.

ROA : Return on Assets. This is one of the profitability indexes which show the ratio of profit to gross assets.

ROE : Return on Equity. This is one of the profitability indexes which show the ratio of profit to equity.
