Participating in JDRF charity walk
Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia participates in the charity walk held by JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, an organization who collects the fund to study juvenile diabetes)
This charity walk is held in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth, which are the state capital of Australia. This is the family event in which participants walk 5 km from the park at city center. The money collected in this event is spent to study juvenile diabetes.
In FY 2008, the event was held on October 12. Many employees of each HCA branch took part in the charity walk held at the Sydney Olympic Park or other places with their family, and cooperated with the charity.

In FY 2009, HCA will have their employees be more interested in the event, and urge more their employees to take part in it with family.
