Raising awareness of, and embedding the "Kenkijin spirit"

It is important that all group company employees (Kenkijin) have the same sense of values in order to pursue our corporate vision and achieve the medium-term management plan, and other important matters. In fiscal 2007, we produced a booklet titled "Kenkijin Spirit", which describes the common sense of values and golden rule to be respected by each Kenkijin, and distributed it to about 16,000 employees worldwide.

From fiscal 2008, we assigned "Kenkijin spirit" leaders a to act to raise the awareness of, and to embed the "Kenkijin spirit" at their workplace so that the "Kenkijin spirit" would be taken root in all of the employees of our group, and held explanatory meetings for the leaders. We have already started activities to raise the awareness of, and embed the "Kenkijin spirit" at each workplace, which centered on the "Kenkijin spirit" leaders.

We will continue to promote activities to raise the awareness of, and to embed the "Kenkijin spirit" all over the world, so that all of the employees of our group are united to enhance each customer satisfaction and to further raise the brand image of our group.
