FY 2008 achievements and FY 2009 targets of environmental conservation activities

Our group makes plans for environmental conservation activities and sets targets for each category according to the Hitachi Group's Sustainability Compass that shows the environmental management policy and activities. The achievements in fiscal 2008 and the targets for fiscal 2009 are shown in the following tables. We use GREEN 21 to assess and improve the activities.
