Environmental Conservation
Our group set up the Global Environment Charter as the foundation of environmental activities, and positively promotes environmental conservation activities of our group. The Environmental Conservation Action Principles in the Global Environment Charter shows directions of how environmental conservation should be realized as a global company. Based on the principles, our group develops and deploys environmental activities of our group. Our group also adopts the Hitachi Group's Sustainability Compass to represent the directions and efforts of our group environmental management.

Our group established an Environment Policy Div. in 1991 to promote organized environmental conservation activities of our group.

Acquisition of environmental management system certificates
Our group considered establishment of a managing system as a driver of environmental activities. Information concerning the acquisition of ISO14001 and other certificates by our group is available here.

Our group develops eco-products by considering their impact on the environment through the product life cycle.
