Enhancement of human rights education in the hierarchal training sessions
Our group strives to establish worksites that are pleasant and safe, and where the personalities and human rights of the workers are respected. As part of these efforts, we teach human rights in hierarchal training sessions, such as training sessions for newly hired employees, training sessions for newly hired employees with work experience, training sessions for new assistant managers and training sessions for new section managers.

Training courses for newly hired employees
To enhance knowledge about human rights, some Career Development Center staff received training in human rights that were provided by an external company in October and November 2007. These staff then taught our employees human rights in fiscal 2008. The training sessions include the study of human rights problems that are characteristic of Japan, such as discrimination against social minorities, and discrimination on the basis of diversity such as gender, nationality and race. Concerning sexual harassment and power harassment, for which the judgment criteria differ by individuals, we use DVDs to show examples to raise the understanding of the employees.
We will continue to strive to establish worksites where employees respect the personalities and human rights of the other staff by teaching employees about human rights.
