Revising the program to develop new service staff in Japan

Developing the abilities of service staff who directly serve customers is vital in efforts to raise customer satisfaction. Therefore, we provide a three-year training program centered on technical training to new service staff. However, this three-year training program for new service staff became insufficient because of the increase in the number of product models, the increasing complexity of electronic control technologies required for machinery, and the provision of services using fewer engineers. So we revised the training program in fiscal 2008, extending it to over four years to allow time for the addition of moral education, training in manners to serve customers, and practical work training using actual machines.

We aims to further increase customer satisfaction by raising capable staff with practical training that has been revised as stated above.
