New employees participated in a cleaning volunteer activity

98 new employees being trained at Kasumigaura Institute participated in a cleaning volunteer activity by Lake Kasumigaura on July 13.

New employees which belong to our factories including group company employees are now being trained about technology and skills as trainees. They also belong to the trainee squad of fire-fighting team organized by the employees of Tsuchiura Works. We conducted a cleaning volunteer activity as a special summer training of the fire-fighting team.

On the day they cleaned a 3 km path from Kasumigaura Institute to Kasumigaura General Park which has a Dutch windmill for 2 hours, and collected a light - truckload of garbage, separating combustible from noncombustible garbage by hand.

In addition, the fire-fighting team of Hitachinaka Works and Hitachi-Rinko Works conducted a cleaning volunteer activity at Ajigaura beach on July 9, and the fire-fighting team of Tsuchiura Works conducted a cleaning volunteer activity around Tsuchiura Works and Kandatsu station of Joban line on July 18.
