Mr. Amemiya, president of Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery, gave a presentation at the 42th National Meeting of JSL interpretation

The 42th National Meeting of JSL (Japan Sign Language)interpretation was held at Kobe Culture Hall and the Port Island Campus of Kobe Gakuin University from August 7 to 9. The event was held by Japanese Federation of the Deaf and the National Research Association for Sign Language Interpretation. It was a workshop where 47 branches gathered and studied about welfare improvement at each region together with hearing-impaired person association, promoting the welfare improvement of hearing -impaired persons and the social status improvement of sign language interpreters. Mr. Amemiya, president of Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery, gave a presentation titled "Challenge the landmine removal - restoring the rich and peaceful land" on August 8, the second day of the workshop. Many hearing - impaired persons took part in his presentation and understood the tragic situation of landmine damage and his passion to the elimination of landmine damage through sign language interpretation.
