Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery's Thank You Fair 2008
Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery has been doing business with us for thirty years. The firm sells our products and services products in Yamanashi Prefecture, and now manufactures products using our technology. They held The Thank You Fair 2008 on October 4 and 5 to show gratitude to customers and local people, and to present their CSR activities and their new factory. It was fine on the day of the event that attracted more than 2,500 people over the two days.

They exhibited our products and two units of demining equipment at the Thank You Fair. The chance to sit in the operation seat was popular among families with children. They introduced their activities for demining by displaying model mines and showing videos, and Mr. Amemiya, the president of Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery, made a speech titled "The challenge of demining", that was well attended.

Many people assembled for a demonstration of demining equipment, one fitted with a flail hammer, the other with a rotary cutter, and enjoyed watching their powerful movements.

They offered fried Chinese noodles, other light meals and refreshments to visitors free of charge at the fair. They also staged a Pocket Monsters show together with a place set up for children to get free yo-yos and masks. The show was particularly popular among families with children, with very many children making a long queue to have their photos taken with the Pocket Monsters. The final event was the lottery. The Thank You Fair, with lots of events, was a success. Surely, the visitors enjoyed the fair.
