Hitachi Construction Machinery (Shanghai) and Qingdao Chengri Construction Machinery joint donation to improve elementary school in Linyi, Shandon

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Shanghai) (HCS) and Qingdao Chengri Construction Machinery (QCM, an agency in Shandong directly operated by HCS) made a joint donation to fund the renovation of an elementary school in Linyi, Shandong, China, as part of the efforts to contribute to the local community. A grand ceremony was held on September 27 to celebrate the completion of the renovations, attended by representatives of the local government, the board of education and other community leaders. Three representatives of HCS and QCM and more than a hundred pupils of the school also attended the ceremony, which included a drum and fife band performance and other events.

QCM is going to build a repair factory a few hundreds meters from the elementary school in December, and is planning to invite the school pupils for tours of the site. QCM will continue to contribute to the local community. HCS is also determined to contribute to local communities through cooperation with its Chinese agencies.
