Sporting clays player, Ms. Nakayama, receives The Daily Yomiuri newspaper Japan Sports Award

The 58th Japan Sports Award presentation ceremony sponsored by The Daily Yomiuri was held at the Imperial Hotel on January 16, 2009. Ms. Yukie Nakayama, a member of our sporting clays club who works in the Corporate Communication Department, won the highest excellence award of sports association. The award is presented annually to athletes and sports associations with remarkable achievements during the year.

Ms. Nakayama won the highest excellence award of sports association, because in addition to qualifying for the Beijing Olympic Games by winning the world cup in Korea, and taking 4th place at the Olympic Games, many people were moved by her loving relationship with her daughter, Mei.
