Tianjin Lions visit our head office
Hitachi Construction Machinery (Shanghai) and Hitachi Construction Machinery became the main sponsor of the Tianjin Lions, a Chinese professional baseball club, from 2002. The Tianjin Lions have won the China Baseball League (CBL) championship for three years in a row, becoming the representative team of China.
The Tianjin Lions came to Japan to compete in the Asia Series 2008, held from November 13 to 16, as the team representing China. The day before the opening day of Asia Series 2008, a representative of Tianjin, Jiao Yi, the team manager, and two players, Luo Yu Bin and Su Chang Long, visited our head office.

After a friendly chat, presents were exchanged. The players gave Mr. Kikawa gifts including signed balls and T-shirts, and Mr. Kikawa presented small model excavators and other gifts.
