Junior high school pupils in Kawasaki visit our head office

We assist in the education of the next generation of people as part of our contribution to society. The head office accepts many visits by pupils from elementary and junior high schools. On February 13 and February 17, our head office hosted two such visits: on February 13 by six pupils from the second grade of Kawasaki Municipal Hiyoshi Junior High School, and on February 17 by five pupils from the second grade of Kawasaki Municipal Sugo Junior High School. The purpose of company visits is learning about work and contributions to society and to think about the hardships, difficulties, pleasure and significance of work.

During the visit, the pupils toured the office and observed staff at work. After feeling the mood of the office, they watched a video introducing us. They received explanations on our development of demining equipment and support for the NPO, Good Earth Japan, as part of our contributions to society. The pupils asked various questions about the explanations. These were answered by an employee from the general affairs section. The students listened to the answers attentively and keenly took notes, which was very impressive.

At the end of the visit, the pupils received mini models of the ZAXIS as gifts. They left the office with smiles. We are glad if the visit provided an opportunity for them to think about work.
