Winning the outstanding performance award at the third Manufacturing Japan Award

Mr. Amemiya, president of Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery, Mr. Tokuno, Mr. Nakano, Mr. Kunugi, Mr. Sorita from Yamanashi Hitachi Construction Machinery, and Mr. Ikuta from Hitachi Construction Machinery won the outstanding performance award at the third Manufacturing Japan Award regarding the development of dimining equipment which recovers the safety and peace at minefields, and restores minefield to rich and fertile land.

Manufacturing Japan Award was established as a new prime minister award system by the government to steadily take over and further develop the manufacturing which sustains the development of our country industry and culture, and contributes widely to the buildup of rich people's life. Regarding the mention of METI, there are 5 categories which consist of 4 categories of manufacturing which sustains industry and society, and a youth support category of high technology and skill which sustain future manufacturing. They won the outstanding performance award in the product and technology development category of manufacturing which sustain industry and society.

They will continue to sustain the development of industry and culture, and contribute to the buildup of rich people's life through manufacturing.
