Japanese school pupils in Dubai visit the Middle East center of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe)

About fifty pupils from the fifth and sixth grades of the Japanese school in Dubai made a study visit to the Middle East center of Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) on July 7. This was part of their extracurricular studies to learn about Japanese companies in the country.

Mr. Kitai, the center general manager, explained to them about our products including Hi-OSS (Hitachi On-site Screening & Solution, which sorts, processes and recycles wastes on site), and our activities for demining to contribute to society. In particular, regarding the explanation of the mine damage, the background to the development of demining equipment, mine eradication, etc., there were many opinions and questions from them. It showed their interest in demining.

Then they experienced construction machinery with instructors ensuring safety. They had great fun operating machines. We believe it was a great experience for them just before their summer holiday.
