CSR training at "Tokiwakai" safety and environmental training session
Our suppliers belong to one of two groups called "Chikuhokai" and "Tokiwakai", which were established to build up and maintain partnerships that contribute to mutual development with the suppliers.
The "Tokiwakai" held a safety and environmental training session for the staff in charge of safety and environmental matters in March 2009. Although the main topic of the training is management for safety & health and the environment, we asked them to include CSR training in their training session. During the training session, we explained basic matters concerning CSR, such as the meaning of CSR, and examples of activities related to CSR at other companies, and introduced our group CSR activities. We plan to provide CSR training to the business managers of the suppliers in fiscal 2009.
