Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is pleased to announce the extension of its ZW wheel loader range, with an introduction of the new ZW40 and ZW50 Compact Wheel Loaders. These models maintain the quality reputation of the Hitachi brand and provide the performance expected from an industry leader in construction machinery.

Through thorough research and the implementation of innovative design, the new ZW Compact Wheel Loaders deliver optimum function, economy and operator comfort. These compact machines combine mobility and agility with strong performance to provide a loading tool capable of performing a range of tasks in very confined spaces. The ZW40 and ZW50 wheel loaders are perfectly suited to a variety of applications, including landscaping, agriculture, light construction and waste disposal.

The overall machine strength and durability has been improved through the introduction of a reinforced mainframe, box construction for front and rear frames and use of increased plate thickness, resulting in longer machine life and providing an ability to work in the harshest of environments.

Maintenance of the Hitachi ZW Compact Wheel Loaders has been simplified to reduce time taken for daily checks and routine maintenance. The large full-open cover and lower counterweight provides easy access to the engine compartment, allowing inspections, replacements and fillings to be conducted with ease, while the use of HN bushes in the loader joints extends the lubrication interval from the standard 50 hours to 250 hours.

Safety, comfort and the environment have been considered through the inclusion of many standard features, such as a Tier 3 compliant engine, low noise levels, good visibility, anti-theft protection and easy machine access. The ergonomic layout of the operator’s station provides superior operator comfort, which is further enhanced with the inclusion of suspension seating.

The standard Australian specification, for both the ZW40 and ZW50 models, includes a 0.5m3 or 0.6m3 general purpose bucket, pallet forks and a hydraulic quick coupler. These compact wheel loaders are available in both ROPS / FOPS certified canopy or air-conditioned cabin configuration.
