Established eight years ago, Wallis Constructions Pty Ltd is a successful Civil Construction & Project Management company located in Sydney. Since their inception, Wallis has consistently used Hitachi equipment, relying on our machines to drive, and grow, their business.
Currently, Wallis owns six Hitachi machines - three excavators (a Zaxis 470, 230 and 200), two mini excavators (an EX 75US and 55U) and a brand new ZW140 wheel loader. Delivery of the ZW140 was taken in February this year, and the machine has definitely lived up to their expectations.
As the images attest, Wallis is involved in some very interesting work. Their massive Zaxis 470 was purchased for a job that required the lifting of shoring boxes that weighed approximately 3.7 tonne. Says Director Nigel Wallis - “we needed a machine that was capable and reliable”. A couple of their current projects include the Trunk Main Replacement at Gerringong on the NSW coast, and the Open Trenched Water Main for the Sydney Desalination Pipeline Project.
